FTP refers to File Transfer Protocol. It is a method for transmitting files electronically. There is a free FTP client called FileZilla Client that is available on the Internet and offers a number of useful features. This tool, however, may not seem intuitive to a beginner. It may be more helpful for beginners to ask their facility’s IT staff person for assistance in uploading the necessary files.
