Resumen
El SC-CPI es un interface puente entre el puerto serie de los dataloggers CR800/850, CR1000, CR3000 y nuestros nuevos módulos CDM (Campbell Distributed Modules). Los módulos CDM utilizan el nuevo CAN peripheral interface (CPI), y el módulo SC-CPI permite a los dataloggers mencionados anteriormente, conectarse al puerto CPI de los módulos CDM. Los nuevos dataloggers dispondrán por defecto de la toma CPI.

Data Logger Considerations
A 5-conductor cable connects the data logger to the SC-CPI, and an Ethernet cable connects the SC-CPI to the CDM.
The data logger operating system must be version OS 26.

To communicate with CDM devices using the CPI protocol, the CR3000, CR1000, CR850, and CR800 dataloggers require an SC-CPI device. Only one SC-CPI device per data logger is required. It is expected that the design of future Campbell Scientific data logger products will work with CPI-based modules directly.

The communications protocol used by CDM devices is the CAN Peripheral Interface (CPI), which includes methods that are proprietary to Campbell Scientific.
