Resumen

The RA100 Remote Strobe and Siren Alarm provides visual and audible signals of alarm or status conditions. The red, amber, and blue strobes are SAE Class II LED beacons with a 100,000 hour rated lifetime and an average current drain of 0.26 A at 12.8 Vdc. The 120 dB siren has a current draw of 0.62 A at 12 Vdc, but is typically on 3 s out of 120 s, allowing the average current drain to be less than 0.02 A. The strobes and siren are mounted to 58 in. aluminum tubing that has a painted irridite and black powder coating for looks and durability.

Descripción detallada

While the RA100 is typically part of the LW110 Lightning Warning System or the RA110 Remote Alarm System, it can be purchased as a stand-alone item for many applications. It is easily powered and controlled by a Campbell Scientific datalogger and the SDM-CD8S 8-Channel Solid-State dc Controller.

CR3000 (retired)
CR5000 (retired)
CR800 (retired)

CR9000X (retired) The CR9000X is compatible, but the RA100 requires the SDM-CD8S and the SCM-CD8S does not support the CR9000X's fastest communication rates. Therefore, the RA100 is not practical for most of the CR9000X's applications.

Información de compatibilidad adicional

While the RA100 is typically part of the LW110 Lightning Warning System or the RA110 Remote Alarm System, it can be purchased as a stand-alone item for many applications.

Synchronous Devices for Measurement (SDMs)

An SDM-CD8S SDM-CD8S 8-Channel Solid-State DC Controller is required when the RA100 is not used in a LW110 or RA110 system. To communicate with connected SDM devices, the CR3000 and CR5000 use the SDM-C1, SDM-C2, and SDM-C3 ports. The other dataloggers use ports labeled C1, C2, and C3. The 21X also requires channel 1H.

Datalogger Notes:
*For the CR7, the required SDM-CD8S connects to the C1, C2, and C3 terminals provided on the CR700X control module (after September 1996).

**The CR9000X and CR9000 are compatible but the RA100 requires the SDM-CD8S and the SCM-CD8S does not support the CR9000(X)'s fastest communication rates. Therefore, the RA100 is not practical for most of the CR9000(X)'s applications.
