CS658 Sonda contenido agua para HydroSense II (R) varillas 20cm

Resumen

The CS658 is a water content probe used in the Hydrosense II system (not for use with dataloggers). This probe has 20 cm rods; another probe, the CS659, has 12 cm rods. When ordered with the HS2 Hydrosense II Display, the CS658 is option -20. It is also available as a replacement part.

Note: The CS658 is designed for use with the HS2 but not with the HS2P.

Descripción detallada

The CS658 soil moisture probe has been designed to aid insertion into and removal from hard soils. The probe rods use ferrule nuts to secure the rods to the probe housing. A molded plastic grip connects the probe's cable to its housing.

  1. Yes.

  2. No. The 20 cm rods (pn 18592 or pn 12007) from a CS620 cannot be used with a CS658. The CS658 uses different 20 cm rods (pn 26485 or pn 26483).

  3. Because of the thread type used for the two sensors/rods, it is physically impossible to interchange the rods.

    • The 20 cm rods used with the CS658 are not compatible with the CS659.
    • The 12 cm rods used with the CS659 are not compatible with the CS658.

If measurements are needed for both depths, both the CS658 and CS659 must be used.
