RF connection then via LAN or WAN

MtJoy Apr 6, 2017 04:05 PM

Hi Expert,

here is the issue:

RF401A was connected to CR6. and CR6 was connected to cellular modem via ehternet. Port 6785 was forwarded to CR6 IP(192.168.0.100:6785).

Two CR800 with RF401A were added to the pakbus network.

When I connect laptop to same LAN (192.168.0.###), Loggernet can read CR6 and two CR800 without problem.

but if I switched to WAN (cellular), I can access CR6, but failed to access both CR800.

Can you help me on this? Thank you very much.

Also, is there a guide for how to connect remote logger in below scenario?

 LoggerNet server    <------- internet- tcp 6785 port  -----> Cellular modem  <----serial port ----> RF401A  <===RF radio===> RF401A attached to CR logger.

I am not able to setup cellular modem for this portion: Cellular modem  <----serial prot ----> RF401A.

Appreciate your help.

M.T.

You might need to add extra response time in Setup of Loggernet.
