SC32A vs. SC32B

I have a SC32A device and would like to know the differences regarding a SC32B. Also, is any more recent device recommendable to be used in place of SC32A/B ?

The SC32A and SC32B are essentially the same with the one significant difference being that the SC32B is capable of supporting baud rates higher than 9600 baud.
