i have a question. I know that between OBS-3+ and OBS300 Turbidity sensors, the OBS-3+ “looks” perpendicular to the length of the sensor, whereas the OBS300 “looks” out the end of the sensor.
But why is the object of this orientation difference?
It is solely for the purpose of mounting. The area of influence goes out several centimeters. A sensor in a well would have the well casing too close. So, we designed a down-looking version.
