Trouble compiling and using PC200W 4.4

TaCaPica2 Jul 5, 2016 03:56 PM

Hi

Im having some trouble using the new updates from CRbasic and PC200W. Because of diferent sofware that i have installed i use in my PC winXP Pro.

I have LoggerNet Admin 4.3 and im running CRBasic 3.6 but after the last update im cant compile programs for CR200 and if i try to use PC200W and PC400 4.4 version it block the operation and i have to do a hard log off of both of the programs.

I had to downgrade my PC200W version.

I also cant compile my CR200 programs with this version of CRBasic.

Do you have any suggestion for my problems?

Best Regards

Hi me again

i still cant use PC200W v4.4 and above. I have a error code every time i try to do some modification on the logger config or when i try to had a new logger.

The error that i get is:

"Acess violation at address 00405B87 in module 'PC200W.exe'. Read of adress 00000000"

After this i cant do anything alse in the program and i have to close it using Alt+F4.

With PW200W v4.3 it work fine, but i need some of the features that v4.4 has.

The issue that is treated in the other topic doesnt help me because i dont use special characters to avoid situation as this and i tryed to do the instalation and tryed the operation without any active anti-virus (i use Avira)

LoggerNET v4.4 doesnt give me any problems so i think the problem is on PC200W.

Any ideias?

Best regars

I am a bit confused. Do you use PC200W and PC400, or PC200W and LoggerNet?

Are the programs on the same machine or different ones?

Hi

In my PC i have all of the programs. We have clients that some use LN others PC400 and others just PC200W. So to BE easier to me to help them i have all of them installed.

My point is: when im on the field, my tool of choice is PC200W, and with the improvemens made in v4.4 , is a very good tool...if o could edit and add loggers to it.

I still use WinXP, but this shouldnt bem antes issues, or could it? I already tryed v4.4.2 and i have the same problem both in PC200W and on PC400.

Best regards and sorry about the statement

ZP

I am going to email you directly to ask some more questions.

For the CR200 compile problems, you may want to download and install each of these. It will install the different compilers that can deal with all of the different instructions you may need for all of the clients you work with.

I have installed both PC200W and PC400 4.4.2 on an XP machine here and don't have any trouble with adding and editing a station. Do you have Service Pack 3 installed, and all of the other XP updates?
