If water vapor measurements are not needed, can the LI-820 be used instead of an LI-840A?
No. The AP200 is designed to work only with an LI-840 or an LI-840A. These analyzers give more accurate measurements of the CO2 concentration because they allow the dilution by water vapor to be taken into account.
